Call Me Amour Close Out UK Tour At The Electric Ballroom Camden

After releasing their self titled EP in early February, Call Me Amour really hit the ground running by embarking on a UK and Europe tour supporting scene legends Set It Off, alongside TSS and Point North.

Approaching the venue, you could already feel the infectious energy buzzing between fans as queues stretched all the way around the block. I have been fortunate enough to see all of the bands on the lineup before, all of which have been incredible experiences, and this last night of tour was no exception. Even before any of the bands hit the stage, fans were singing their hearts out to the pre-show playlist. You could definitely tell spirits were high.

Call Me Amour were the second band to perform, following on after TSS. The dark-electronica quartet kicked off their set with a fan favorite, "Happy Hell." This high energy and catchy track got the crowd moving and singing the lyrics right back at them. This was a common theme throughout their entire set, and for that matter, the whole show as well. The band played a mix of songs from the new EP, along with some slightly older tracks, which locked in both new and old fans alike.

One thing I really picked up during Call Me Amour's set was just how much they valued being in the moment. Between frontman Harry Radford jumping into the pit, and the speech he gave part-way through about how special it felt to be there that night–it gave me a reminder of why I love music as much as I do, and how truly beautiful seeing it live can be. Especially when the atmosphere is as electric as it had been in London.

If you ever get the chance to catch any of the bands that performed on this tour, I would absolutely recommend doing it. All four bands put on amazing sets and gave it their all, for every single moment they performed. UK fans should keep an eye on Call Me Amours socials, as the band revealed a UK tour in November is to be announced soon.
