Winona Fighter Cooked Up The Hottest Tour Stop In Seattle

Up-and-coming, female-fronted punk rock group Winona Fighter hit the stages, bringing an electric performance. The rising band brought explosive energy to the Tractor Tavern in Seattle, WA. The Yes Chef Tour is in celebration of the bands' newest album, released on February 14, 2025, My Apologies To The Chef. This east coast band is made up of vocalist Coco Kinnon, lead guitarist Dan Fuson, and bass player/producer Austin Luther. To help warm up the excited crowd were local Seattle cowboy punk band Stetson Heat Seeker and pop-punk artist Hannah Duckworth.
Reigning from Nashville's punk scene, Kinnon and co. brought high-spirited energy to the West Coast. Winona Fighter is all about writing music for everyone who is constantly struggling through life and kissing your ego goodbye. Their music shares stories of perseverance and fighting back. Each song on the setlist brings empowerment and a catchy beat. This high-energy band is all about supporting local shows. Everyone should support local, smaller artists.
Fans got to hear the entirety of the newly released album, out of order. Each song tells a story. Some of the crowd favorites were "Attention" and "Swear To God." The crowd was amped up with angst, jumping about. Show goers got to hear a cover song as the encore, which was a surprise since this band does not always perform covers. They did a cover of "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys, which was the perfect way to round off an incredible album celebration show. Tractor Tavern had their boots shaken, thanks to the opening bands and the fiery energy transmitted between Winona Fighter and their fans.
